Job Description:

Under the responsibility of the Head Groundsman, the Deputy actively participates in the operational, technical and human management of the stadium's turfed surface, in accordance with the highest quality standards.

In this role, responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the supervision and training of the Groundsmen team, apprentices and temporary staff, in support of the Site Manager;

• Contributing to the daily maintenance of the pitch by carrying out the manual and mechanical operations required to ensure an optimal level of quality;

• Helping to plan activities and manage supplies, materials and equipment;

• Participating in pitch preparation according to the match and training schedule;

• Applying and monitoring the maintenance plans (mowing, fertilisation, aeration, overseeding, etc.) defined by the Head Groundsman;

• Contributing to the development and implementation of the fertilisation plan;

• Ensuring compliance with regulations, internal procedures and client expectations;

• Monitoring pitch performance (turf quality, playability, safety) and proposing corrective actions where necessary;

• Participating in the development of expertise, working methods and Natural Grass R&D projects;

• Acting as the operational stand-in for the Head Groundsman in their absence.

Candidate Profile:

Holder of an agronomic degree, and/or training in golf course and/or sports pitch maintenance or landscape design. You have solid experience as a groundskeeper at a turfed sports facility hosting official competitions, along with the following qualities:
